And there are even more features which makes these modules predestined for applications demanding special qualities: The modules meet all relevant quality standards used in the automotive sector like the VDA standard for voice transmission. They are provided with antenna diagnositic, a robust SMP antenna connector and they feature SIM access profile (SAP). Siemens offers different modules for this market: The Java™ based Quad-Band modules AC65 and AC75, the latter featuring the EDGE data-transmission standard, and the Dual-Band GPRS module AC45.
