The truck is being guided on an alternative route that bypasses the danger zone. Next, the truck driver requests assistance finding an unloading dock in the city's bank district. The telematics unit responds with a list of available unloading locations. After selecting the most convenient loading bay, the truck is guided directly to the site. After completing his stop in the bank district, the truck driver continues on his route and returns to the highway. He enters a request in his telematics unit for overnight truck parking. Instantly, a list of available overnight truck parking zones is displayed along his planned route. The driver selects a parking location and confirms a reservation for the night.
