Cinterion Wireless Modules and Datablaze Team Up For Flexible End-to-End Wireless M2M Solution

Quick and Easy to Integrate, Operates in More Than 125 Countries, No Roaming Fees
Cinterion Wireless Modules, the global leader in cellular M2M communication modules, and Datablaze, a leading M2M wireless solutions provider, today announced the immediate availability of an end-to-end wireless M2M solution that can be easily customized for different vertical markets and end-users. The three layer platform combines Datablaze WebEnabledTM Wireless Hardware, powered by Cinterion’s TC65 terminal to enable GSM wireless communications, with an easy to navigate Datablaze M2M Website portal and Datablaze International GPRS/GSM wireless service. The solution operates seamlessly without roaming fees in more than 125 countries including the recently added countries of Brazil, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and more.

The ready-to-use Datablaze M2M Product Platform can be easily customized for many vertical markets by combining features and functions such as advanced mapping capabilities for fleet management solutions and tracking and geofencing features for law enforcement and asset tracking solutions. Other features include remote asset management capabilities that allow global enterprises to monitor, update, configure and service equipment in far to reach locations such as ships, drilling platforms or mobile equipment fleets. The flexible platform can be programmed for scheduled commands and real-time event alarm notification while also supporting multiple users on a customized user-friendly web interface. In addition, the Datablaze platform conveniently offers data exporting capabilities and device transmission history necessary for regulatory and billing purposes.

“In today’s challenging economy, global enterprises are looking for cost effective technologies that can be implemented quickly to help improve the bottom line,” said Peter Fowler, regional president, Cinterion Americas. “The Cinterion-enabled Datablaze platform fulfills this need as an off the shelf tool that can be customized and deployed swiftly avoiding expensive in-house development costs.”

“By integrating Cinterion’s market leading M2M modules with Datablaze WebEnabledTM functionality, we are able to offer an extremely versatile product platform that can be leveraged for new wireless integrations.  The result is a low cost solution that can be deployed seamlessly across geographically diverse locations using one wireless service provider, one SIM and one hardware device,” said Lance Hilton, vice president of business development for Datablaze. “New wireless projects can be up and running and improving enterprise operations within a month or two which has huge time and cost saving advantages over developing systems from the ground up.”
