	Continua Health Alliance Continua Health Alliance is a non-profit, open industry coalition of the finest health care and technology companies joining together in collaboration to improve the quality of personal health care. With more than 200 member companies around the world, Continua is dedicated to establishing a system of interoperable personal health solutions with the knowledge that extending those solutions into the home fosters independence, empowers individuals and provides the opportunity for truly personalized health and wellness management.
	ERTICO ERTICO – ITS Europe was founded at the initiative of leading members of the European Commission, Ministries of Transport and the European Industry. ERTICO is the network of Intelligent Transport Systems and Services stakeholders in Europe, connecting public authorities, industry players, infrastructure operators, users, national ITS associations and other organisations together. The ERTICO Partners and the dedicated team of highly skilled professionals work on a portfolio of activities to accelerate the development and deployment of ITS across Europe and beyond. In the past, ERTICO has played a leading role in advancing: TMC standards; an open framework for telematics services; next generations of preventive safety systems; next generation of digital maps & associated applications; the technical framework for interoperable tolling in Europe; global implementation of ITS together with ITS America and ITS Japan. Cinterion is member in the ERTICO Strategy Board and Chairman of the ERTICO Automotive Sector Platforms.
	ESMIG promotes Smart Metering in Europe The European Smart Metering Industry Group has the objective to deliver the benefits of Smart Metering across Europe. The foundation of the European Smart Metering Industry Group (ESMIG) recognises the fact that the relevant industries have a key role to play in • the general roll out and adequate use of Smart Metering technology, • a consistent technological roll out in each of the 27 Member States of the EU and • the provision of maximum benefit from the new technology for users, utilities and   the environment. Traditionally, the primary role of utility metering has been to accurately measure usage of electricity, gas and water. Until now this usage data has been - with some exceptions - manually collected by the utilities. But the metering market is currently undergoing considerable change, and as smarter metering systems become available, they are being viewed as the future for utility metering.
	European Telecommunication Standards Institute The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) produces globally-applicable standards for Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), including fixed, mobile, radio, converged, broadcast and internet technologies. ETSI is officially recognized by the European Commission as a European Standards Organization. The high quality of its work and its open approach to standardization has helped ETSI evolve into a European roots - global branches operation with a solid reputation for technical excellence. ETSI is a not-for-profit organization with almost 700 ETSI member organizations drawn from 60 countries world-wide.
	Global Certification Forum The Global Certification Forum (GCF) Ltd is an entirely industry driven, non-profit making organisation responding to market requirements. The three membership types, Operators, Manufacturers and Observers come together and debate what technologies ought to be included in certification across a range of areas – test criteria, test tools and test cases for new technologies. Global best practise is achieved through GCF acting as a focal point for the most experienced professionals in the industry testing and approval eco-system to work together to great mutual value.
	Global System for Mobile Communications Association The GSMA represents the interests of the worldwide mobile communications industry. Spanning 219 countries, the GSMA unites nearly 800 of the world’s mobile operators, as well as more than 200 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset makers, software companies, equipment providers, Internet companies, and media and entertainment organizations. The GSMA is focused on innovating, incubating and creating new opportunities for its membership, all with the end goal of driving the growth of the mobile communications industry.
	Open Mobile Alliance The mission of the Open Mobile Alliance is to facilitate global user adoption of mobile data services by specifying market driven mobile service enablers that ensure service interoperability across devices, geographies, service providers, operators, and networks while allowing businesses to compete through innovation and differentiation The Open Mobile Alliance was formed in June 2002 by nearly 200 companies representing the world's leading mobile operators, device & network suppliers, information technology companies and content providers.
	Software Definded Radio Forum Established in 1996, the SDR Forum™ is a non-profit international industry association dedicated to promoting the success of next generation radio technologies. The Forum's 100-strong membership comprises world class technical, business and government leaders from EMEA, Asia and the Americas who are passionate about creating a revolution in wireless communications based on reconfigurable radio. Forum members span commercial, defense and civil government organizations at all levels of the wireless value chain and include service providers, operators, manufacturers, developers, regulatory agencies, and academia. SDR Forum is the only organization in the world dedicated to serving the industry's needs through advocacy, opportunity development, commercialization and education.
	ZigBee Alliance The ZigBee Alliance is an association of companies working together to enable reliable, cost-effective, low-power, wirelessly networked, monitoring and control products based on an open global standard. Objectives The goal of the ZigBee Alliance is to provide the consumer with ultimate flexibility, mobility, and ease of use by building wireless intelligence and capabilities into everyday devices. ZigBee technology will be embedded in a wide range of products and applications across consumer, commercial, industrial and government markets worldwide. For the first time, companies will have a standards-based wireless platform optimized for the unique needs of remote monitoring and control applications, including simplicity, reliability, low-cost and low-power.
